5work phone

I needed this phone for an at home job. They said we could not use cordless for our headsets but this phone is perfect because the headset jack is on the BASE! So you get the convenience of the cordless when not working and use the base plug in while working.

2GREAT PHONE BUT...

The phone had one feature I really wanted because my former GE instrument had a directory on its face so I could visually select the party I wanted to speak to and simply press its button. This phone had a similar directory on its face. My problem, and the reason I had to return the unit, simply was that the numbers and letters that appeared in the LED panel were too small and too poorly backlit for my older eyes. Indeed, even the call-out titles under each of the various program buttons on face of the unit were tiny and hard to make out even with my reading glasses. I so much wanted it to work out for me but I just couldn't justify suffering with its deficiencies for the many years I likely would have it.
