Very Good Additional Wireless Handset - Recommended

The "RCA DECT 6.0 Accessory Handset" is an add-on to the GE 25255RE2 2-Line Corded and Cordless Expandable Speakerphone system we recently bought. This is not a standalone phone, it requires a base station to operate. This handset works exactly like the one that came with the system. Here are my observations on the handset -Pros:+Very good range+Does not interfere with other wireless devices (specifically my WiFi and Video Transmitter)+Good speakerphone+Good microphone+Has "Do Not Disturb" feature+Feels a little lightCons:-Feels a little lightThis is good system and the handset works as expected, recommended.

Make sure this has the featurs your looking for

I spent a small fortune buying six of these to synch with the ViSYS 2-line Corded/Cordless Expandable System with Digital Answering System (25255RE2) which I purchased at the same time.Synching each phone to the master was very easy, call quality and signal strength are very good. However, the display is very poor, difficult to read in daylight. The display is just too small and the resolution is equally as poor. The overall build quality seems good but every positive point is dragged down by an equally disappointing feature or lack of a feature. The menu is difficult to get through and finding simple everyday options is a pain. You cannot pick up this phone and use it with any intinuity.The most disappointing missing feature for me is that you cannot share the phone book. You will need to program each phone independently with all your phone numbers. Finally, there is a two second delay when answering calls as it searches the two lines. I should have sent the whole system back but we had them for a couple of months before we installed them. Our previous system was a Motorola.

Exactly what we needed

WE needed extra phones to use in our office & these phones work perfectly. THey are very easy to sync to the mother phone.
