Solid phone, sounds excellent, feels well built

I chose this phone to work with my Asterisk/FreePBX server at home, and it works like a dream. If power over ethernet (PoE) is desired, you should get the 1165 model, which is identical to this one except for that feature. The power brick is fairly small and lines up sideways in an outlet, so if it's plugged in directly on the wall, it'll only take up 1 outlet's worth of space. Great budget VoIP phone for homes and small businesses alike. The handset cord might be a little short for some, but this is easily upgraded. It's also worth noting that this phone has an additional 10/100 network port on the bottom (it's labeled "PC"), so you can daisy chain network connections from a single wall jack/switch port, to the phone, and then to a computer. You'll sacrifice gigabit (10/100/1000) speed if you do this, but it works in a pinch.
