2Cannot recommend Grandstream.
By E. Thomas
We used several Grandstream voice and video phones for about a year before giving up on them.Grandstream phones are about the lowest cost IP phones available. They will work as a basic voip phone, for dialing and receiving calls. That is about all I can say that is positive about them.If you want to use ALL the latest VoIP and PBX features, Grandstream will leave you wanting. The firmware is buggy and features often don't work correctly. And Grandstream support is non-existant.Our voip provider voiSip.com (highly recommended) suggested the brand Yealink instead.Roughly the same price, but wow, what a difference. Everything works perfectly now.Avoid Grandstream.

2Grandstream breaks within 2-3 years
By Mark Twain
We bought 6 Grandstream phones and within 3 years, 5 of 6 of the phones broke and had to be replaced. The ones that lasted this long are the higher end GXP-2020, but we also had the GXP-1200 that I am commenting on right now. The GXP-1200 breaks even sooner. The problems start with phone calls dropping out, SIP registration dropping out, and then you end up having to power cycle the phone 3-4 times a day.Right now we are in the process of replacing all Grandstream phones with Snom, Aastra and Yealink, still testing out the waters but according to research all 3 of these brands should be much better than Grandstream.I give it 2 stars because the phones worked for a while.

2Not good. Plenty of background noise
By Charmingdoc
Not good. Plenty of background noise. This phone has created so much embarassment for me with the backgroud noise. I was using the phone for teleconference and each time we laways detect the noise is from my phone. So, I was always asked to get a better phone. No for me.
