great phones

These phones sound good and I've been told the headset sounds better than the handset. The ear pieces on the headset aren't my favorite as my ears are small. The earbud doesn't set right for me, even with the smallest hook. The over the head adapter for the headset works great and stays on fairly well during all but the most active movements. The range is good also. I can go outside and almost half a block down the street before it gets spotty. The battery life is long compared to other phones- not sure exactly but it's about 4 days before the handsets must be charged. The headset is about 2 days but I use it a lot.

Unable to hear soft voices, flimsy headset.

The handset and headset volume fluctuated, and soft voices were difficult or impossible to hear, sometimes cutting out completely. It operated as if it were squelched. The EQ settings had no effect and there was no way to turn off what appears to be an automatic gain feature.In addition, the plastic button on the earpiece that the headset band snaps into broke easily, accidentally. The earpiece is too large to work without support, and was unusable after the button broke.

Worst product 'DO NOT BUY"

Two Handset Cordless Answering System with DECT 6.0 HeadsetDO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WEAR GLASSES. The headset falls off if you wear glasses because the headband hook doesn't hold tight to the ear piece and the arm of your glasses is on the way of the headband that holds on the earpiece. This causes for the earpiece to be away from your ear which is difficult to hear or use the earpiece. If you wear the earpiece without the headband not only that it is really uncomfortable but also falls off if you move around. The hook is not tight enough. The earpiece battery dies really quickly. Waste of money, I was so disappointed that I threw it away, I bought it last year but did not use it until now. I would not even give it away, I email V tech but I'm yet to hear from them. I guess Vtech doesn't care whether its products satisfy customers as long as its manufactured and sold. Their website has no contact phone number or address; it only has a write your information and comments. The only thing I received from them was a reply email stating that my comments were received and someone will call back. Yeah, I'm still waiting for their call. I'm sure when they do I will answer on my new headset but not a Vtech one. Waste of MONEY , very poor quality PRODUCT!!!
