Great Value

I was having difficulty finding a phone set of only two, that would allow a headphone to be plugged in. I was pleasantly surprised to find one with Blue Tooth capability and at such a reasonable price. I was still cautious wondering how the sound quality would be but I have found that to be tops also. Very happy with the purchase.

Great sounding phone and a great price

I have ordered so many phones that I just pass on to friends and family until I came across this set. I looked it up on the Uniden Site and it was over $89 - quite a price drop with Amazon. I like the sound, the quality and especially the talking Caller I.D. I will see how I like the head set in the summer while in the yard (a nice toy!) I think this is one of the best phone purchases that I have ever made!

Great phone, with some quirks

I work at home, and I'm on the phone a lot. I chose this phone because of the wireless headset, and also because the handsets have a headset jack. (If I'm on the phone too much, I didn't want to have to hold the handset to my ear because the headset needed recharging.)I've used the phone for a few days now, and I'm pleased with it.Pros:* comfortable headset. It comes with 3 rubber pieces for inside the ear, 3 over-the-ear pieces, and one over-the-head piece. I'm used to an over-the-head piece, so that was most comfortable for me.* easy to set up* good range (although only tested inside the house)* people can hear me easily* works with voicemail. Even though there's an answering machine, that's easy to turn off, and the phone will let you know if you have messages in your voicemail.Cons:* mute button on headset -- it's not easy to tell whether you're on mute or not. I wear the headset on my left ear (can be on either side), which puts the mute button on top, making it very easy to accidentally touch while putting it on.* no "pause" while programming numbers. My other cordless set (a panasonic) has the ability to add pauses, so you can program the voicemail # and the password. The instructions for this one suggest programming the password in the phone book, and then accessing the phone book while you're on a call.* headset is a little quiet -- it's quieter than my last phone, so it's a little harder to hear conversations. I'm hoping I get used to this.Edited 9/3/2013: 2 updates to my previous comments.1) I've found the "pause" for programming numbers (same button as the redial). I'm not sure why it's not mentioned in the user guide.2) *HOWEVER*, the last several times I've attempted to use the headset, people have been completely unable to hear me (beyond just a little quiet). I'm glad I chose a phone that can take a wired headset, since otherwise this set would now be entirely useless to me. I'm very disappointed that the headset has stopped working so quickly.
