Pleased So Far

I bought one of these Uniden (D1384) 4 handset systems for myself and one for my parents. We're using the phones with Ooma phone service. The sound quality is excellent and the phones are easy to use. I took off one star because you cannot hear messages as they are being left.I wanted to give a couple of my handsets to my parents. I had to figure out how register my phones to my parents' phone base. It took me quite a while to find instructions on how to do this. There's nothing in the user's manual about it. It's easy once you have the instructions. All you have to do is press the "End" button for a second, followed by pressing down the "#" button. Continuing holding both buttons down for about 5 seconds. Then, you'll see "System Reset." I selected "Base Unavailable." Then, "Yes." Then, I immediately placed the phone on my parent's telephone base and the phone registered to their system. It labeled itself "Handset 5" which was nice since they had 4 handsets already. I did this with another telephone which labeled itself "Handset 6."

I am happy how well these phones work,no problems what so ever. clear crisp they just work ! Would recommend them to anyone needing multiple phones on a single phone jack.

It works as a phone

It is similar to what I had but falls short of it. sound wavers in and out , not very user friendly and can't get one of the four back on non-speaker mode .Still all in all it doses function pretty well ...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005XODJOC/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title
