Amazon has wrong color

A note to all, the description states grey (the phone is actually light grey which is in the Amazon picture), but black is shipped. I don't know if Amazon will correct this, I tried to contact them but they don't get the problem. The phone itself is fantastic looking and does a lot and is very easy to configure. I love the way you can click on any "?" and it brings you to the web page with the description of the field. But I will have to return and buy from somewhere else since Amazon does not seem to have the color that matches their description and picture.

It's black

As the other reviewer said, the picture shows a white-ish phone, but the one I got was black. Actually I think the black one looks great and I'm happy with it. It really is a great looking phone, and (in my aesthetic opinion) I like the black.It also works great. And it has built-in OpenVPN, so you can easily create extensions that are secure for home users, etc. OpenVPN is a bit tricky to set up but once you get your files set up, it's easy to do. This phone is based on Linux so once you get used to setting up OpenVPN on a regular Linux system, you get a good idea of how to do it on the phone. It's easy to upgrade firmware on this, and snom seems to release improvements and fixes steadily.All in all, I'm extremely happy with the appearance, features, sound quality, and everything else about this phone. I like that it uses power-over-Ethernet (POE), like all modern SIP office phones.The only down-side is that it is fairly expensive. But that's because it is a full-featured device.It works great with Asterisk. I haven't tried using it to go direct to a SIP trunk, but I assume it works fine for that too.On the wish-list:I wish it had support for hardware tokens for OpenVPN access. I don't like the idea of the private key stored in the raw on the phone.I wish they would not ship the power supply for this; most users will probably end up throwing it away.I wish it had an easy way to add a cordless handset.
