Nice phone with answerer

I bought this in early April to replace an old GE phone/answerer. So far I am pleased, especially with the volume controls. The messages are clear and loud and phone volume is good as well. I recommend this phone to anyone who wants a good phone/answerer.

No way to access Call Waiting!!!

I have call waiting service with ATT, and found out quickly that you cannot put one call on hold to go to the incoming "call waiting". I noted on the box that it says, "call waiting", but this ONLY refers to internal calls which are calls from another handset in your home. I called Tech Help and they verified that there is no way to put a call on hold to take your other call. WHY????? I have never seen another phone that is not compatible with "call waiting" in the last 15 years. What an aggravation. Phone is being returned.Other than that little necessity, the phone is nice and has many good features, but not the one important to me.Buyer Beware!
