phone to bring back memories of the sixties

This is the cutest most precious old phone from my preteens and teenage years. It is very compact and doesnt fall off the table easily like the ligjht weight plastic models of htis generation. acoustics are great. push buttom dialing. It looks so cool in my bedroom. Also is nice to have a working corded line to be able to use your phone when the power goes out. I love this phone!!!!Thank you amazon for finding my dream phone.

Looks good, questionable reliability

It looks great. It has a heft to it that I like. I question the durability of the electronics. I have already had to repair the switch that holds the receiver. It looks too lightweight to take many hang ups.4/2012 update - the switch continues to fail. I'm buying a new phone.

love love love my phone, BUT.....

This phone was something i was looking 4 in pink. I came across this on Amazon that was my very first purchase. The phone was here in 4 to 5 days. I was pleasantly pleased to see the phone was well made. the price was awesome & the look was a throw back retro look that matches my decor. The only problem i have had with this phone (I've had it for 30days) the hang up switch keeps sticking....don't know why that happens but i still love the phone. maybe i'll invest in some w40.....:)Just an update on the condition after about 2 years. The phone still looks great, but it has completely stop working. I can only pick up when it rings. I can not dial out and the receiver still sticks! This all happen shortly after the warranty ran out. I have it as decor now....
