Panasonic's KX-TG4133N DECT 6.0 Plus 1.9 GHZ Expandable Digital Cordless Telephone, in Champagne Gold, consists of an answering system and 3 handsets. The DECT 6.0 Plus increases the frequency of error correction up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone range is extended. The Intelligent Eco Mode automatically lowers the power consumption when you are using the handset close to the base unit. Other features include Talking Caller ID, Call Block, and Call Waiting Caller ID (with subscription). And with the added Tone Equalizer you can control the bass, mid-range or treble tones in a caller's voice for enhanced clarity. Additional features include silent mode, up to 4-way conference capability, and much more.

Love this phone

This phone is very nice. I like that it has different ring tones/melodies to choose from. It's easy to handle, and the color is very complimentary to the colors in my house. I've only had it for a week now but so far it's exactly what I hoped for. You will want to keep the manual handy until you get accustomed to the features and how to operate them. For example, you can go through the menu to scroll through all of the functions, or you can simply go to menu and type in a code and it will take you directly to what you are looking for. My old phone system had a button on the base called "Do not disturb." With this Panasonic phone, you go to the MENU, type in #160 and it will bring you to the screen where you can set your phone to silence the ringer by decreasing the volume to 0. There are many codes to remember, OR you can simply scroll through the menu. The codes make it easier, especially if there is one function you tend to use more often. I love that a little light blinks on the handset when you have a message and you do NOT have to listen to the message from the base. You can listen to your messages directly from your phone, a very nice feature. The base rings along with the phone but only the handset has different ring tones/melodies to choose from. I turned off the ringer for the base because it sounded awkward to hear two different tones. Also, the answering system is crystal clear! You set your outgoing message from the handset, not the base like other phones and believe me, the outgoing message is very clear.

A Very Good Phone

This system provides great range, excellent voice quality/clarity and a solid answering system. It also has talking caller ID which can really grow on you...if I lost it I would really miss the feature. I can only give it two minor dings: (1) The new message notification is visual only (a small light on the phone). It would be nice to also have a audible option. (2) On my system I was only allowed to set up 2 group names. The specs say I can do 10. Neither is a big deal and the overall strength of the system more than mitigates the shortcomings.

Great Phones, but no headset plug in...

I ordered these phones the first time thinking they must have sent the wrong phone, so I sent them back with the explanation that they did not have a headset plug on them which it describes in the specks, so I re-ordered again. They sent out the same one again. Well needless to say it doesn't come with that feature even though it says it does. Other than that,they looked like great phones with a lot of other great features. I'm sure I would have been very happy with them if they had met my need. Delivery and service was wonderful as always through Amazon!
