Not entirely happy

We bought these locally - 3 phones for about $50. Seemed like a good deal, and Panasonic is a good brand. Phones work just fine, and so does the answering machine, but as you can see, I only gave it 3 stars. Reason is that both my hubby & I are hearing impaired (me, more than him), and I can't hear the phone ringing. You can adjust the ringer, which I have done - up to the highest level - but I can only hear the phone if the house is quiet. If we have the TV on, I cannot hear it, and hubby hears it occasionally. I sent an email to Panasonic, and they responded in 24 hours, but the answer was that there is no other way to adjust the ringer. So, I guess what I'm saying is that if you're hearing impaired, like me, you might want to look elsewhere for a phone. Hope this helps someone.

Had this phone before and can't go wrong. Love ring tone you can set very pleasing sounds to choose from . Only had trouble getting batteries it needed. So I bought whole new phone! Worth it to me.
