This is the best phone system I've ever had

I began using the KX-TG155SK yesterday. You can link up to two bluetooth cell phones and one head set to this cordless phone system. I wish it could handle more devices. It can be set to operate with cell phone service only if you have no land line. You can easily transfer all of your phone numbers to it from your cell phones. Handsets are numbered 1 through 5, and you can see which handset you are using on your handset display for intercom purposes.I have often missed calls to my cell phone because I leave it in one place when at home. Now my cordless phones ring when a call comes in on my cell. I can answer and make calls via my cell service with any of the handsets. A call just came into my land line and the handset nearest me announced the name of the caller. I hadn't known it would do that. The system comes with five handsets but can handle up to six. SAM's Club has this system for about $130. A range extender can be purchased that approximately doubles the range of your handsets dependent upon your environment (KX-TGA405). Visit [...]

We wanted to lose our landline, costs were just getting to be too much for our usage. Found this and so far so good with this unit.A few things:Best if your cell is in the same room as the base unit - or calls have a bit of staticSmall delay once you answer phone, maybe a second or twoAnnoying Caller ID - we couldn't get it to turn off and customer service at Panasonic was no help.If you look at the CID section in the manual it tells you to access Menu and press #*162 for the base and #162 for the additional handsets.This ONLY works if all you have hooked up is your landline (doesn't tell you that)If you have a cell phone hooked up you need to access Menu and press #6141 (if you have 1 cell attached) #6142 (if you have 2 cells attached)

PRO: Excellent home phone system. Easy to setup and all the hand sets work at a great distance from the base station. 150ft - 200ft line of sight. After using the system I ordered two more hand sets for a total of 7.CON: Six of the rechargeable batteries would not take a charge. I did wind up buying 6 AAA recharageble batteries.
