5This is one of the better Amplified phones.

I received this phone about week to two weeks ago and so far I am pleased with it's performance. I have some frequency deafness in the mid to lower range and have difficulty distinguishing what is being said with a lot of noise around. It has a ear volume of 1-5 and is preset at 4. For most calls the 4 is fine. I have used 5 and do well with it.There are a lot of features with the phone, you may or may not like. There is a section in the middle of the book with all of the features and the menu codes (short cuts) to each feature, so you may turn it on/off or program it. I like the button size, larger than some of phones but not over-sized. The display for date/time and Caller ID is large bold print, easy to read. The phone will also say the name on the caller ID to announce who is calling. It speaks loud enough to hear a room or two over. I did not like this feature and turned it off, though others may like it.Overall I am very pleased with this phone.
