Weak battery and difficult to sync with base

For some reason, after charging to half power, following the poorly written instructions,I could not sync this product for around 30 minutes.Then later that evening, it somehow was synced.Maybe it was synced all along but was kinda shy.A bad difference between this product and the original wireless handsetis that this unit charges down much faster.I assume this is because the battery is weaker than the original.

Small buttons, kludgey slow interface, intercom is difficult to use

The good: Range is good and sound quality is good.The bad: The whole user interface needs work. The buttons are too small. If you take it off hook first, you have to press five or six buttons before the tones come out and then they come out all at once - it's very awkward. Calling someone on the intercom requires a bunch of button pushes just to select a one digit extension.
