Wow - can get a cup of coffee down the hall while on a call

Setup easy and the device is supporting MS Lync on my laptop and a 10+ year old PBX based desk phone. I have had a problem getting it to mute and unmute from the headset, however the sound is clear, there is no static on the headset and the range is phenomenal between the headset and the base.

GREAT - works very well

Awesome, only thing is that you have toi remember to restart it now and then ... it does get "stuck" in either phone or softphone mode though I can never quite rule out the PC as a possible cul;prit. I use it on my Ubuntu 12.04 system with Skype and Google Voice - no issue. I also use it on a Windows 7 session that I run on Oracle's VirtualBox on that same PC and I have no problems whatsoever.

Mediocre and Expensive

If you want to combine mediocre performance with excessive expense, the Jabra PRO 9450 is for you! Combine bad connections resulting in crackling and a tin-like sound on many of your calls along with controls that manage to somehow not always work with radiation similar to planting your forehead on a microwave door while heating up your popcorn and you have the Jabra PRO 9450! There is a remarkable lack of flexibility in the software and it is clear that ergonomics for comfort was not a concern in the design of this item. If this headset were not purchased by my employer, I would certainly seek to return it for a refund, or failing that dunk it in the trash at the first opportunity. Save yourself by not buying this garbage.
