Lovely to look at, but...

I do not recommend this phone for regular use; it simply isn't durable enough. The handset is wobbly, even when tightened to the maximum, and the ceramic base cracks like glass.

Disappointed

The phone is cute and worked fine for about two weeks. The top part of the phone that allows you to hang up broke off when I was answering it. Now the phone is nothing more than a decoration item. Not built to be used for any length of time.

I like it, but ...

The phone is lovely, but it didn't work when I plugged it into my jack. I was about to return it, when I read the other review that mentioned the loose wiring. "What the heck," I thought, and opened the base -- and sure enough, one of the wires had come loose.To be fair, it may not ship that way, but the way the it's constructed makes it *very* easy to pull the wires loose when you're putting all the parts together. My advice: BE VERY CAREFUL TWISTING ANYTHING CONNECTED TO THE BASE. I think that might have been what happened -- while trying to make the receiver assembly nice and straight, I twisted it around and a wire came off its post. Maybe it was loose already, but me turning it around in circles probably didn't help.An hour later (I'm not very handy), I had the wire reattached and all the little screws in their proper holes, and my phone works. And I'm glad -- I really didn't want to return it. So pretty!In conclusion: (Five stars for pretty + one star for having to become a phone repair technician)/ 2 = three-star review.
