Best cordless ever

This is my last acquisition and I have to say it is one of the best cordless ever. Performance is infinitely better than Panasonics'. Programming and customization of this phone is great. I've been using it for a month and works great. Super satisfied with this purchase.

Functionality Problems

Purchased this phone for the new ECO DECT low radiation, low power rating. Features are comparable to other phones. There a a lot of ring tones, only three ringers. The other tones are songs which I thought were all terrible. The problem we had with this phone is the caller ID function. An incoming call would display the number on the screen. It would not activate any of the additional features related to caller ID. For example it would not display the name from the directory, use the distinct ring tone, or display the color assigned to the entry. Discussed this with Gigaset Tech Support a number of times, resetting everything. The phone is warrantied through Amazon so I got a replacement. Same exact behavior. There is no settings to enable or disable these features. It can't be related to the phone line or service because the handset shows the incoming phone number. Returned the replacement phone. This would be a good phone if it worked.
