Very nice phone

We had an older Panasonic cordless phone, and had terrible problems with it conflicting with our wireless network. Our phone and internet are through the same company. If one person was using wireless internet and the other person made a phone call, the internet session would drop. There would also be a loud clicking on the phone if a computer was on. And the "1" didn't work, so we couldn't call anyone with a "1" in their number. It wasn't always that way, of course - just a result of age.So I did a bit of research, found the VTech DECT 6.0 and ordered it from amazon. So far it's great. We have found no interference at all with our wireless internet. It's a very nice looking phone, sleek and compact. The buttons are flat, like those on a Razr, and there's a nice blue backlight. Sound is clear and crisp.This particular model comes with a second handset which does not need a jack - just an electrical outlet. So that is handy for placement almost anywhere. There are lots of programmable features and a variety of ringtones. And the "1" works!This is quite a nice phone, and I would highly recommend it.

No Interference!!!

I had a lot of interference with my old uniden cordless even with dsl filter so I finally decided to try something knew. I originally tried the Phillips 6.0 dect phone, but I didn't like it so i returned it and purchased this phone. I like everything about it. Plus O interference. It has an easy set up, intercom between handsets, nice buttons, range is great...all the features work easily and as described. If you have your internet through your phone line this is a really nice phone to have to avoid the crackling, fuzzy, odd sounds you get from your normal cordless.

Like many of the reviewers here: Love the style, hate the battery. It would start losing its charge after 1 call and if left off the base would die within a few hours. Customer service at FunPhones (the seller) was horrendous, both in responding to shipping issues and returns issues. But, then I called the manufacturer and they were fast, friendly and professional. They sent me another phone right away that I got in a couple days and it works well. The phone is great looking and functional. If you don't care about how your phone looks, I would recommend getting another one that is more reliable. But, I think that since phones are present in your living space all the time they should look good, so this one is worth the extra hassle.
