great phones!

I recently purchased this set of phones and am quite satisfied with them. The phones work great, are of excellent quality and for the price, a very good bargain for a dect 6.0 phone. I like that I have a corded phone in case of power failures and can use my corded phone. I love the many features on both the answering machine and the handsets. I would definately recommend this item to a friend.

Not as good as I'd heard

I wanted to replace our old Uniden, which had finally died. This is a discontinued model, but I had read some great reviews here and at epinions. Unfortunately, the phone is not so great. The handsets are light as a feather, which isn't a good thing. It's almost impossible to cradle them if you need to use both hands for something else. The corded handset is a good thing, but it too is very small and has the same problem.Uniden markets this as having extraordinary battery life, but we haven't found this. If anything, the handset batteries don't last as long as our old TRU9000 (?) series ones did.The sound quality of the outgoing message is incredibly bad. No matter how I spoke, loudly or softly, directly into the microphone, it sounded like I was talking through a pillow.On the plus side, it has a very good looking base which is pretty user-friendly. Pairing and sharing phonebooks etc. among handsets is quick and easy. Caller ID is very easy to use, and incoming numbers store very easily. Incoming and outgoing calls sound good, but judging from the quality of the outgoing message, I imagine the outgoing speakerphone sound is probably poor.I spent a long time researching this, and I did get the features I wanted - just not quite the quality. (BTW we paid $70 reconditioned for the model with 2 cordless handsets.)

Love it!

The phones are small (definitely not Zack Morris' phone!), look very streamlined and sound very clear. The corded phone has an adapter to hang it on the wall, and that has worked out great. I also love that you can give each phone a name and it is displayed on the phone.
