Basic Land Line Phone
By E Body Driver
This is a basic use telephone. Good sound quality, nothing confusing on the use. The ringer is not unpleasant- and can be turned to a low volume. It would be nice to have a few different ringer tones, but overall, it does the job.

An Okay Home Office Phone
By Caleb Davis
This is your standard office phone. It stores 10 phone numbers, call history, etc., etc. It feels pretty hefty and solidly built. The handset could be uncomfortable after long periods of use, but that's probably typical of most telephones.I bought this phone because it has a RJ-11 jack (standard phone plug) for the headset, meaning you don't need to take the handset off the phone to make calls. A lot of other phones run headsets through a headphone jack. I needed something more than that and this certainly delivers. HOWEVER -- You hit the speakerphone button to activate the line for headset calls. It appears to take the speakerphone down to near mute when the headset is plugged in. This means you can't use the speakerphone while your headset is plugged in, even if you're not on the headset. I haven't tested the speakerphone separately, but if this is the volume for the regular speakerphone, then it's essentially not a speakerphone. Also, the mute button on the phone doesn't work for the headset. I believe it's similar to the issue above, where it just takes the microphone on the phone down to near mute, but not actually off. I learned that one the hard way. Thankfully, my headset has a mute button on it and I use that instead. In the end, I could have paid more for a nicer phone, but it certainly meets my needs.
