Can you hear me now? Yes!

I bought this phone for my grand parents who are into their mid to late 70s. Every conversation was Filled with annoyed "what's" and " say that agains" . I realized that it wasn't just their hearing when I stayed with them for a few nights and attempted to talk in their phone. I realize their hearing was better than mine and found having conversations impossible. Finally, my mother called in me to research phones that were loud and clear. I saw many on amazon but this one seemed to be the best rated. I bought this phone and the extra cordless a few weeks ago and my grandparents are still talking about how much they love it! If it makes them happy, it makes me happy!

Garbage

After five months use, it no longer works properly. Typically Chinese made poor quality. It has good volume and voice clarity is just OK. But, last time we used it the phone kept interrupting conversations with beep like noises.

Good Hearing Assisted Phone

I got this for my Mom who recently moved from her home to independent living. She has cable service for her phone with only one phone hookup. This works well as I put the corded unit next to her bed and the wireless next to her easy chair. She had had an older corded unit a dozen or so years.The wireless unit does not have a loud ring. The corded unit caller id is difficult to read as the display only lightscif the handset is off the hook.Overall, she is pretty happy with it. She can hear it ring and she can gear to talk on it.The set up directions were way too complicated. They need to be simplified. The setup was easy if you didn't mind the instructions.
