A cheap, flimsy phone that feels like a child's toy

Don't be fooled by the picture on this phone. It's cheap and feels like a child's play phone. Also beware of The Price Pro's seller. They will hit you with a 20% "restocking fee" if you DARE try to return one of their items. RIP OFF.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE

I bought this phone March 6th and currently still don't have it, because I got the first one and the sound quality was horrible. I called, and they sent another handset- this time there was no sound at all! Irritatingly, in the manual, they basically state that if you're having a problem with the phone, it must be the way you installed it. Really? Anybody out there ever had difficulty plugging a phone into its jack? I didn't think so. So, I sent everything back- on my dime, by the way- and now three weeks later I've been told "its still in the repair shop- they're really behind with all the phones that need repair." I think that should tell you alot about the quality of the phones being made. They will not send me a new one until they've looked at the one I sent back. I cannot stress strongly enough- DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE (or any other) FROM THIS COMPANY. If you want a retro phone, do what I'm going to do- buy an actual old phone from the days when they could build a decent landline phone! This has been such a horrible- and ongoing- experience, that I'm even a bit dubious buying anything else via Amazon- obviously their screening of companies is poor.

Good Phone

I accidently purchased two of these phones. When I received them and hooked up the one, I was able to send the second phone back without issue. I am still waiting for the refund, but the company has been very nice so far.The phone totally resembles an old fashioned spin dial model. Its great if you like the "antique" look in the house. It matches our kitchen perfectly and has a pleasent but distinct ring. My children hardly remember having a phone mounted to anything let alone attached to the wall.The cord is sensitive and it took a while to get it to set just perfectly.Scott
