Brothers BCLD110 cordless handset
By Steve Douglas
I have owned a Brothers printer/fax/ scanner/phone system for a few years now. I use the fax machine on a regular basis and have had no issues with it but have never used the scanner or printer sections. The 1 star is for the phone. While the battery lasts a good long time and I have never needed to replace it, the phone itself is a minus 5. When new, the phone works just fine. Audio clarity is very good and I have no complaints about the reception. However, you will find that the buttons on the phone itself soon lose their ability to be pressed for the numbers you are trying to call. I have had to buy a replacement phone just too many times, at least 5 times, since I bought this product. Naturally, this occurs soon after the warranty has run out. Apparently, whatever spring they use underneath each rubberized button, has a very limited lifespan. Of course, some buttons will wear out quicker than others depending upon which numbers you most frequently go to but keep in mind that the number one button you will use is the 'talk' button and, if you have call waiting' the 'flash/Callwait' button. After having to replace them so often, and not inexpensively, I have decided to simply never buy another phone from Brothers ever again and will search for a better quality, longer lasting phone.

Replacement phone
By P. Gudish
This was a replacement for a phone which was part of a fax, printer, roam phone. The phone had been used so much that the rubber buttons no longer pressed easily. The replacement works well.

Brother Cordless Phone
By April A. Adams
I originally bought the Brother Intellifax 1960C for the office functions of copying, faxing and printing, but when the cordless phone in my kitchen died, I decided to purchase the extensions for the rest of the house. We're happy with the way the system works. The ringer is quite soft, but I confess, I haven't yet looked up in the directions whether or not I can control that.
