Excellent cordless phones

I just bought this phone, because I will only buy AT&T's digital cordless phones. I've tried others over the years and returned each one, because i've found that AT&T phones are truly the only ones which are 100% totally clear and free of interference and static, even if used near other electronic devices (computers, cell phones, microwave ovens, etc.). It's digital answering system is the same -clear, concise messages, and unlike many other brands, no one sounds like they are underwater gargling when I play back a message!I buy new AT&T phones every few years when I see the batteries are no longer lasting as long as they once were. I found that buying the newest and latest upgrade to AT&T phones actually comes out cheaper than the price of replacing the batteries for each handset (I only would buy OEM batteries made by AT&T - knock offs are horrid in most cases and are often worse than the battery being replaced!) .If you want absolutely perfectly clean and clear sound when talking on the phone, and when someone leaves you a message, then stick with AT&T phones.

Meh! Not the best, not the worse either...

I bought this phone from Costco for $80. I had Panasonic Cordless phone for years and I liked them better. But recently other companies introduced Push to Talk which is a very convenient feature but Panasonic did not bother to think about it. That is the only attraction found with this phone so far.Pros:+ Easy to setup+ Good voice quality+ Easy to use keypad+ Good speakerphone+ Push to Talk featureCons:- Unreliable caller ID featuer (50% of the time it fails, no it is not my phone company, I had no issues with Panasonic)- Unreliable caller ID announcement. When Caller ID actually works, it takes 3+ rings before it announce caller name.- Never ending charging light. You never know if the battery is charged unless you go to the handset and look at the battery sign. LED is useless as it always glows.- Old school LCD display.I am not sure if I am going to keep this phone as the Caller ID is important for me and it is not reliable with the phone. Other than that major flaw, others are adjustable.

Has excellent sound. No static. It is worthwhile buying a new set of phones instead of new batteries. It also has more memory to store numbers. I am very pleased with this product.
