ATT CL82301 Cordless Phone Set

This item arrived in very good condition within a few days of ordering. I was looking for a multi-set and this one seemed to have the specs I wanted. I'm slightly hard of hearing, and this set has very good volume and clarity. The range is quite good. I can take it to my neighbor's house and still use it with no problems. The intercom system is great in my two-story house. The caller ID announce feature is very handy when I'm not by the phone, for example when I'm having dinner. It allows me decide whether to get up and answer it, or let the answering machine feature take it instead. The lighted buttons are also handy. The handsets lack a belt clip, so I have to carry it in a pocket - an inconvenience. They also lack an ear plug socket, but I have never used that feature in any previous phones I've owned. All in all, it is one of the better cordless phone sets I've had over the years.

Great Phone

I replaced an AT&t phone with this one because I wanted three handsets and I also wanted it to announce the calls. This one does all that and very well. It is very clear and has good range. The buttons are large and easy to use. It's well lit when it's on and easy to program. I can't think of anything I don't like about it. I don't use the answering system because I don't need it.

Good phone system but not without flaws.

We purchased this system and an additional four handsets as we have a large home. The sets have worked great with no connection issues and work outside in the yard, garage, etc. I like the voice announcement that you can program so that caller ID will talk out loud..."Call from, Nicole". Helpful when cooking and you can't get to the phone. This feature IS programmable on each individual phone...I turned it off in the bedrooms. Ring choices are not great but we found one that was innocuous enough. Wish it had a belt clip option. Note that it does not have a place to plug in a headset. LOVE the speakerphone on this model. Nice and clear. Find the connection/clarity when talking normally sounds slightly scratchy but we're getting used to it. Super choice for the price!
