Sticky Buttons

Purchased this phone for my in-laws to replace an older phone. within a month the buttons started to stick. Would only dial one number when I returned it. Volume seemed to be good and without roar with a hearing aid. Speed dial function a little to complicated for the elderly, plus the lack of a lighted dial makes it difficult for those with low vision to see the buttons.

Great phone .....

This is the second time I purchased this exact same phone, the first one worked great for years. This is a wonderful phone for someone who is legally blind and practically deaf.

JV35 okay but...

This phone is overall good, however I expected it would have a speaker phone allowing hands free conversations, however it did not, and the volume was not as loud as I would have expected from an amplified phone. I bought this phone to replace an old wired set which had speaker phone, but was also needed very large buttons due to low vision issues. Number button size is excellent. Also like that it repeats the numbers when pushed. Like that it has override for for speaker boost but again this was not as loud as I had hoped it would be. If you need only moderate amplification and need big buttons this phone will meet your needs. I plugged an AC powered PC speaker set into the available output jack and that helped boost hearing fine, but then without speaker phone you must still use handset to talk into. Very quick delivery from Amazon.
