The Yamaha PJP-50USB is a web conference microphone speaker with an adaptive high performance echo canceller built in. When connected to your PC via a USB or audio cable, it provides a multi-person web conferencing experience that's as smooth as video conferencing.
The PJP-50USB's adaptive echo canceller "studies" the operating environment and automatically adjusts the echo filter factor accordingly. And since it performs well in many different acoustic conditions, you can easily hold conferences in whatever room or space is available.

Have the VOIP version PJP-50R

Best conference phone we could find. Way better than polycom. We love the polycom handsets and every desk at our office has those, but the Yamaha unit is the one to get for the meeting rooms. We currently have two of the VOIP version of these units.

Expensive, but it works and works well!

Sure the price tag associated with this is rather high, however if you are looking for a VOIP solution for a large room with 10+ participants, this is your solution. It is very clear for those physically near the device, and equally as clear for those joining the call remotely. One downside is that the device is powered via a power brick rather than the USB cable. It's a great solution working well for us in rooms that are rather large with multiple participants.

Great product!!! Its like a Magic saucer!

Yamaha did a great job putting together this PJP-50USB. We recently purchased this to complete our Video Conference room and use with Adobe Connect. We are very pleased with our purchase (though we wish the price would come down a bit). We were disappointed to find out that the dial-pad on the ProjectPhone only works with Yamaha's proprietary software and only dials SIP phone numbers (aka IP addresses). Unfortunately it doesn't work with most SoftPhone software on the market. This minor drawback does not prevent us from using it as an excellent microphone/speaker combination for our conference table though. This is just like having a full sound board right on the table.Though its an interesting design I would highly recommend the PJP-50USB as it provides great audio quality from any direction.
