Works as listed, looks great

Purchased this set for a small business. Set-up was easy and they work like a charm. Really can't beat the price for the quality. Caller ID, on hold music (suggest plugging in an old iPod and running it on repeat, the built in music is painful), extensions with voicemail and call transferring. Also allows you to just dial extension of person in the office for quick intercom. They look cool too, the blue is hot rod blue and really pops. Recommended

Not Hard to Install

I installed this at my church, replacing the old AT&T Merlin system. Had to change the network connections to be a standard phone connection for the phones, but not to hard with the right tool and patience. Easy to use. The price was good.We did activate the voicemail system. It's ok, but if a phone is unplugged for some time, the voicemails are lost.

Works well, but a really a bit out of date already.

Overall, this is a good system that is fairly easy to setup.However, I would suggest considering an IP PBX system instead, such as the 200 Series IP PBX by voiSip.The 200 Series supports unlimited extensions, and up to 32 simultaneous calls, right out of the box.It also has a LOT more features, such as Call Record, Call Monitor, Call Whisper and Call Barge, to name a few.The voiSip 200 Series is also a bit less expensive to buy than the X16 system.But the big advantage is being able to use voiSip's VoIP service, which is FAR less expensive than land line service.
