Great phone, except for...

One critical missing component is a headphone jack. For a 2-line phone this phone has it all except this singularly most important piece. I've been using Panasonic cordless phones for years - and really liked the feature set of these VTech phones. When I purchased the system I just assumed a 2-line (essentially a small office business phone set-up) would have a headset jack. Bad assumption on my part. They're going back and I'm sticking with Panasonic at nearly twice the price - because they have a headset jack.

Not all it should be

I purchase this product after having read the reviews on same. I needed a two line cordless phone that was expandable. The ONLY thing I like about this phone is its size. The quality of the reception leaves much to be desired and it often produces very loud and annoying sounds of unknown origin while in use. I also find it very complicated to save callers' names and phone numbers. My prior system saved the names and numbers with the press of a button and allowed call back the same way. This does not save the "1" necessary to call back.

So Far So Good!!

This is a great value for the price! There is only one thing I am not totally thrilled about and that is this... If you are using the speaker phone on the base and decide to pick up a handset, the transition is not smooth and squealing/screeching is involved.Other than that, I would definitely recommend this phone set!
