I got these phones to replace a GE pair that was malfunctioning after about 2 yrs of use at my mom's house.I was drawn to it by it's low price too, and i'd read reviews that it was a pretty neat phone, especially on the clearness, so decided to try it.It arrived sooner than expected and works just as expected. The Interphone is an extra cool feature.Will get a 2nd set for my new home!

Nearly perfect!

We have voicemail through our phone provider, so we didn't need a phone with an answering machine. This neat little number fit the bill, providing equally clear reception on both handsets, plus an "intercom" feature that lets you speak handset-to-handset if/when you need to.The only reason I've given this a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star is the fact that it is VERY easy to hang up the call if you balance the handset on your shoulder. As a chronic handset-balancer, this has been a problem for me. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but in the meantime, a lot of loved ones are going to think we have REALLY bad phone service!

I purchased this phone set to replace a 10 year old Uniden set. The sound is clear, the functions are easy to use. This was a great proce for a great phone!
