Compact size is great

All of the cordless phones out on the market now seem to be fairly tall compared to this older model phone. I like this more compact size so the phone doesn't become an obnoxious element in the room decor. Also, I keep one in a small cabinet so the short size is again an advantage.The color display is nice as my other units are B/W. Out of an original purchase of a 4 phone set, one died and I just replaced all the batteries as the original ones were dying. One phone failed, not the battery so this one replaced it.

Vtech extension phone

So far so good. It arrived within the time frame stated. The phone came in what looked like the original box. It was easy to activate and even has a color readout! How do you beat that.

Be careful what you order..

I ordered this product to add to a 4 phone set up in my home. The V-tech product is very good and I have no complaints. The link on Amazon's website was not clear about whether or not my system would accept a 5th extension. It wouldn't. ! was aware that some of the newer products could be expanded up to 6 phones and so I wrongly assumed that the V-tech would also. I had to return it and there-by lost my shipping cost. I then ordered an extension phone (from Amazon) for the Panasonic setup in my home and it logged on perfectly. The link for the Panasonic was more specific and so when I ordered I knew it would work for a 5th and 6th extension if I needed it. I really like these extensions because they can be plugged in anywhere..even in the garage..But, order carefully. I really like Amazon and order almost everything through them..I just need to be more careful..
