Fax-Phone Router

After a frustrating experience with my Comcast router - problems for 2 years at least - I gave in and purchased the Call Director. And I love it. It actually works. I can still see Caller ID. It doesn't get interrupted when a fax is in progress and I pick up to answer a call; it effectively routs, in other words, and it WORKS. The design is slim and fits in a tight space. Worth what I paid; I wish I hadn't waited so long.

This Item worked for me right out of the box. The directions could be a little better but after looking them over for a few miniuts they where fine. I would definetely recommend this to anyone who has a fax that shares the main number.

Frustrating to set up

Just received this today. Tried to set it up and it was very frustrating. I have an answering machine and a fax on the same line. Had to reset rings to answer to 6, my answering machine picks up after 4 rings. It kept picking up before the answering machine picked up. Had to reset for it to go to answering machine instead of the fax after silent transfer. I still don't know if I have it set up correctly. Called the support line and received the answering machine. Waiting to see if they will call me back.
