i really like uniden phones but this one disappointed me. Both worked great for a week or so just long enough I bought my parents one and then one quit working. Wouldn't answer calls and would disconnect during a conversation, and didn't stay charged while on the base. It got returned!

do not buy this phone

many problems with the one i bought.no dial tone, it was always 'searching'.tried to use phone only 2 feet from base and it displays,'handset out of range'.called uniden support line twice within their service hours andrecording said 'our office is closed, call back during service hours'.returned the phone and bought a v-tech instead.

Horrible audio quality

I needed some additional phones for my home and turned to Uniden, as I have some other Uniden models for almost 10 years, and they provide flawless service at a great price.This new 6 Ghz technology seemed interesting, as it would not collide with wifi networks or microwaves.Unfortunately the sound quality is awful, there is a constant shhhhh background noise, (like white noise), reminding me an analogue cordless phone from the 80s. I was going to try and move the phone to a different channel, in case something in my house was causing interferences, but there is no setting on the phone to do this!Do yourself a favor and buy a Uniden phone, but stick to 5.8 Ghz models.
