Good phone but one problem

We have used TMC for years. This is a very good phone -- nice build, does everything it says it does, except for one problem which makes it difficult for us to use it. We have both Verizon FIOS lines and non-FIOS copper service lines coming into our business. This phone cannot conference 2 outside calls if you are connected on the two different kinds of lines. Your FIOS call is fine, as is your non-FIOS call with the first call on hold. Then you press CONF, and you get a loud buzz and the second call gets dropped. The first one of these phones we got, tech support suggested something was wrong with the phone so we returned it. Second unit came, same problem, so we looked further and found the problem. We did confirm that if you conference two outside calls on both copper or both FIOS, this phone works fine. Incidentally, two things: on a Uniden 2-line phone, we are able to conference across the two different connection types no problem. Second thing is the older TMC that we replaced, we found the conference function seemed to have stopped working -- it dropped calls when you hit CONF, which is why we replaced the unit. But that was after we installed FIOS on some of our lines. So maybe the first unit was OK, it was just incapable of conferencing across the two different services. C'mon TMC fix this!

Great 4-line KSU Less telephone system

I am amazed with all of the big system features the TMC 4300 phone has to offer the small business. I have researched other KSU Less telephones such as the AT&T 974 but it did not have the options that sold me on the TMC ET4300. I especially like the Music on Hold option for the ET4300 the (800-EFM add on) that enables me to connect my On Hold Plus unit for a really professional on hold solution that sounds great. I also love the intercom with all page, toll restriction with override, call transfer, and headset jack with dedicated headset button. This phone also has a two year warranty one of the best in the industry.
