Everyone Should Have One!

Although I'm on the don't-call list, I still get hammered with junk phone calls, several each day. I got a Panasonic answerwing machine with a phone blocker, but it didn't help much. The block list was only 25, and the phone still rang, though only once. I got this product and hooked it up to the answering machine. Now, I can block virtually limitless calls, and the phone merely chirps when a blocked caller rings.Very easy to use: Plug it in, and set up the date and time. It starts working immediately. When an unwanted call comes, push the left arrow, and then the Blacklist button. They'll never bother you again.

I think this device should get a 5 star rating because the device works really well on my phone.The problem is with the instruction booklet.The way to delete blocked numbers leaves alot to be desired.If you go to the list of numbers and hit remove it only takes the number out of the display.The number stays in the memory and will get blocked the next time that number calls.If you go to the blacklist button and it brings the numbers up you can scroll to the number and hit remove and del- save will be displayed, now the number is removed from the blacklist.I hope this may help someone who may experiance the same issue.Thanks to another amazon user for helping figure this out.There is a web site with somewhat better instruction and faqs.It [...].Hope this is helpful.

Bought this item due to the influx of phone solicitor calls. Even though we are on the "Do Not Call" list we were still bombarded with calls. The federal Do Not Call list is a joke. Another federal program that does not work and wastes the taxpayers money.Plug this device up to your phone line and wait for incoming calls. When the phone rings the device records the phone number and lets you to select which number gets blocked. The next time they call you the phone rings once and the call is terminated if the number is on the block list. If you block a phone number that you do want to receive just scroll thru to the block-list, find the number and press the "Remove" button and you can receive calls again from that number.If I do get a call that I do not recognize I search Google with the phone number and if it comes up as a phone solicitor I block it so they cannot call again.I have searched the internet for a device like this and am surprised to find the selection is few. This device does work on Vonage like advertised and so far am very happy to have this device. I was getting phone calls from a wireless number that would call between 1- 4 AM and now the calls have stopped.Well Worth The Money!
