Swiss, but not cheesy

Like many others, I was attracted to this phone by its striking design. I'm pleased to report that it also works very well.From its rather understated British style ring tone to the reasonable volume of messages being recorded (I'm using factory settings), this phone seems to treat me like its a respectful visitor rather than an unwelcome intruder, sort of like a new European acquaintance who wouldn't think of calling me by my first name unless I insisted. I did find the setup keys a little balky until I learned how to use them - after all, at this price this is Swiss quality as realized by the Chinese and one shouldn't expect Patek Phillipe precision at Swatch prices.The combination of stunning design, good functionality, and low Amazon price makes this a 5-star buy for me. People whose lives revolve around their phones, who prefer being interrupted rudely, or who are fishing for maximum versatility may wish to cast a wider net.
