The ScandiPhone is based on the unique upright phone that was introduced in Europe in the mid 1950's. Smaller and lighter than anything available at the time, it's unusual one piece design was a fine example of form and function in harmony. The push button version was introduced in 1967.

Love the look!

I love my new ScandiPhone. I use it as my every day home phone and so far it's done well. And I absolutely love how it looks. Yes, you can quickly tell it's a reproduction, but I still think it's similar to the original. Plus, it's pretty sturdy and it works. However, there are a few issues, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. I keep hanging up on people because I accidently hit the big red button. And you must hang it up on a hard surface, otherwise, it won't hang up. Also, it's kind of heavy, when you hold it. So really long phone conversations are hard to do. The other thing to be aware of is the receiver volume. I suggest keeping it on low, because on high, you can hear your own voice and it's super loud. It gets annoying. I also have had some issues with people hearing me on the other end. But I'm not sure if it's the phone or just my connection. So for now I'll say it's the phone. I still wouldn't trade this phone for a cordless hi-tech phone. But then again, that's just me.

I LOVE THIS PHONE

I bought it last year from Amazon and have loved it every since. It's shipped from England and arrived with a "Royal Post" insignia on it, which tickled me pink. I love the sculptural aspects of this phone and the simple functionality of it as well. It is my phone of choice, well used over my cell phone.
