Works well with Polycom Soundpoint IP 550

I had a little trouble getting it to work at first, but after resetting everything it finally worked. A little pricey for what it is, but you really don't have any alternatives. Now my Plantronics CS-50 headset works with my Polycom Soundpoint IP 550 phone without having to press the headset button on the phone...just clicking on the earpiece button does the job.

Great product!

I use this with my Plantronics CS70 to connect to a Polycom VOIP phone. Using this adapter, I don't even have to touch the phone. I just pushing the button on the headset and it answers or give me a dial tone. Great business productivity solution!

They work

I have equipped both Polycom 550 and 330 phones with this device. It would have been nice if the phones had been designed to support the lifter out of the box, but they don't. The physical lifter on was driving our call center crew nuts because if it was not adjusted just perfectly, then it would drop the handset incorrectly. This adapter totally fixed the problem. Call center folks have enough challenges as it is, why not resolve the ones you can. The IP-330 required an adapter to allow connection to the 2.5 mm headphone jack.
