Retro-ish

I bought this phone to use in my home office as the decor is a little bit classic/traditional and thought it would fit the look well. The good news is that it works quite well as phone. The handset has a reasonably solid feel. However, the buttons don't provide very good tactile feedback so you really have to listen to know if a number has been pushed vs. feeling the positive "click" when a key is fully depressed. The travel of the different keys is inconsistent and some are quite "squishy" feeling. The Retro Sound logo is also crooked in the center of the dial on my example. It looks good from 10' away and works well enough as a back-up to my iPhone...

Love it.

I got this phone to keep in the living room (where there is phone jack). I got so tired of trying to find where someone left the cordless phone. Over the holidays, I had lots of company and everyone commented on how cool it looked and where did I get it. The sound quality is good and the ringer is not obnoxious (like my cordless phone).

Picture is deceptive

The product looks great in the pic but it is extremely cheap, even for its relatively low price. It isn't heavy, the handset doesnt fit right onto the rest and the colors are completely off what the picture portrays. I am returning. NOT WORTH IT.
