Very good phone...

This phone meets my needs - no interference when talking, no answering machine, functions are easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the numbers do not light up when dialing, so unless you are in a well-lit room, you will have trouble seeing the numbers. Other than that, I am very satisfied with its performance. It has a very clear signal, which was my main concern.

Phone is ok while it lasts

These phones were fine, but as one other user mentioned, one of my 2 handsets started to lose connection to the base and within a few months the other phone did the same thing. I've had these phones for less than 2 years and expected them to last longer than that.What happens is that the phone rings, you push on answer, and the phone dies. You cannot turn it back on again without setting it in the cradle. Most of the time, it keeps dying and you don't get to answer the phone unless you luck out.

True confession

We originally had a unit with a base station and three phones. Incredibly, we lost two of them. I bought two replacement extensions but had to return them because after a half hour with the Panasonic rep on the phone, we could not get them to sync. Otherwise, the product worked well for us when we originally had us. Just don't rely on tech support.
