4Great phone..... but....
By Gabriel Williamson
Its a great phone, but I didnt get to use it on a very good connection. I used it as an internet phone for skype while in Iraq. Our internet was crappy, so the phone calls were crappy too. Not the phones fault though, Great phone. Would give 5 stars, but not fully able to judge sound quality due to the internet issue..

4Good phone for the price
By HR
I have been using this phone a little under a month and am quite happy with it. I spend a lot of time on the phone for work, so my biggest gripe is the battery talk time. The documentation states about 5 hours and that is pretty accurate, although I expected more from this phone. Luckily meetings of that length are far and few in between.I use this phone mostly with a headset, but have also used the handset. The sound quality is good for both. I was on an international call that had quite a bit of echo and the voice enhancement feature was very helpful. It does distort the voices, but it improved things enough that the echo wasn't all I heard. I also have a wireless network and a set of 2.4 gHz phones in the house on another line and there does not appear to be any interference issues.I have used the conferencing feature, the phone book, the VM auto dialing, call-waiting, mute, and hold. All of the features are easy to use or configure. I do agree with another reviewer that the dialing is slow. This actually caused an issue with automating the VoiceMail pickup at the phone company because with the maximum "pauses" the VM system is not yet to the stage where it can accept the password. For $29.99 though, I didn't go wrong with this phone.

3Disappointed; returned to store.
By Silent Larry
I would have kept it but for one thing; it sounded half-duplex. When I was taking, I could not hear the other party speak. This would have been understandable while using the speaker phone mode. But I won't tolerate that sort of thing when using as a handset (or with headphone). I won't put up with having my wireline phone sound like a cell phone; that was the end of that.If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, this could be a nice phone. Things I liked:*"Non-microscopic", decent size handset/buttons/display*The speaker phone sounded pretty decent, for coming out the handset. Ironically, they claim the speaker phone is "digital-duplex", which I take to mean "kinda sorta like duplex, but not really". But it did sound ok.*I usually could care less about ringtones, but in the short time I had it, I grew to like the one that sounded like a melodious telephone bell.Minor gripes:*S-l-o-w (auto) dialing speed. My older Panasonic 900mhz phone dialed much faster. Honestly, the phone should dial faster than I can, or what's the point?*Too many steps to navigate "chain dialing" feature (dialing a 2nd phone book number after initial dialing). You have to select it as a menu choice, should be one-button access instead.*"Voice Enhancer" feature; turned it on, had a good long laugh, turned it back off.I didn't keep it long enough to check out the range. Once I ran into the half-duplex thing, I just didn't care to investigate further. Save your receipts, folks...
