I love this phone

We just picked up this phone. I was concerned about it due to the previous 1 star review. I almost passed on it, but am so glad I didn't. It is a wonderful phone and so easy to program and add contacts. It allows me to edit a contact without having to redo everything. The voice caller ID is very handy. The manual said it didn't have intercom service between the units, but it does. The handsets are light weight and the screen is very legible with large type. The sound quality is great and the voice mail setup very easy. So far I couldn't be happier.

best Phone Ever!

I bought this phone on amazon and was thrilled when i received it. i took it out plugged it in and viola.This phone is amazing in many ways.the sound clarity is great and the large numbers is not a hassleI absoulty would recommend someone to purchase this phone. It is an amazing price for sucha great cordless phone.

NO backlighting on keypad

This phone does have some nice features, but I was stunned to discover that it does NOT have any backlighting on the keypad of any of the four handsets. If you never plan to use this phone in your bedroom or any other darkened room, then you won't mind. But I found it unusable in the dark. The lack of keypad backlighting was a deal killer for me and I returned the phone. My old Panasonic phones had backlighting. This phone system should have never been released in such a primitive state.
