By Daniel J. McGarigle
The Panasonic KX-T2365 can store 28 frequently used phone numbers for 1-button or 2-button dialing. The display gives the current time and duration of the call, but not the caller-id. The buttons of the key pad are fairly large and easy to read. Programming the speed dial buttons is straightforward. There are additional buttons for Memo, Pause/Save, ReDial, Flash, Mute, Hold and Speakerphone On-Off functions. It has a Volume Slide that adjusts the volume of the speaker phone that has its own microphone on the front panel. The Ringer Volume can be set to Off-Low-High. Dialing type can be Pulse or Tone. The KX-T2365 can lay horizontally on a desk or it can be hung on a wall using two screws. The two key-shaped mounting holes on the plastic back can wear out if the phone is heavily used. In that case sheet-metal reinforcements need to be fabricated and attached to reinforce the worn plastic mounting holes. It uses 3 "AA" Batteries that last almost a year. It handles one telephone line, has one input line jack and no output line jack. The printed owner's manual is available at 1-800-332-5368 M-F 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. pacific time for a price, but, as of 04-28-2013 the electronic PDF owner's manual is no longer available from the Panasonic web site, but may be available from this reviewer.
