Works great so far, nice with Bluetooth

I took a chance with this package of refurbished set. Upon opening, they all look new except for not having the plastic peel-off cover for the screen. They all came with a new set of AAA rechargeable batteries (a plus, instead of the special costly battery pack).I got a total of 6 handsets in this package (the non-refurbished deal only gives you 3 handsets). Two of them needed to be synced up with the base, but it was a straight-forward thing to do. They all work, so no complaint at all.I hook the base up with a MagicJack, then paired the base with 2 cellphones. So far I haven't had any issue at all. The cell-phone integration is very nice. Now the cordless phones will ring when I get a call to any of my cellphone. You can selectively configure to have just any individual cordless phone to ring on incoming cell-phone call. The manual says you need to place the cellphone upto 10-meters away from the base, which is standard for Bluetooth range, so just make sure you keep them close enough to avoid excessive signal loss. And yes, you only need to pair them up once, and they will automatically integrate each time just like a regular Bluetooth device.I've used Panasonics cordless phone for at least 6 years now and had not had any issue with this brand, so I can strongly recommend Pana phones to anyone, especially this special deal.

Incredible buy, fantastic features

Fantastic home phone system whether or not you have a "land line." The system is filled with features such as talking caller ID, so you don't have to get up to look at who's calling, notification of voice mail on your providers' account, and phone books shared between phones.I bought the set for the bluetooth function to solve this problem: My wife keeps her phone in her purse, which she sets down when she gets home. As she wanders around the house, most of the time she's not close enough to her cell phone to hear it ring so it's hard to reach her. This set pairs with her cell phone and connects whenever she comes home. So her cell calls ring on the 6 handsets scattered throughout the house. You can set it to use the ring tones from the cell phone on an incoming cell call.I also have it connected to a landline and can connect to my cell phone too - so all calls can ring on those phones. Of course you can pick up the cell calls on your cell phone instead - especially if someone else is on these phones. When calling out, you can choose whether to dial out on the landline, or either cell phone - in case you've got a better long-distance plan, mobile-to-mobile, or friends and family. If you don't have a landline, no problem, there's a setting for that which streamlines the menus by taking out extraneous choices. I un-paired my cell phone because I carry it on my, so when I'm at the far parts of the house, it rings the handsets but is too fringy for a clear bluetooth connection.I had been looking for a system that would handle bluetooth to the cell phone, but was pleasantly shocked when I found such a full-featured system at such a low price. Shipping was super-fast and although marked "refurbished," everything looked brand new.

I am very happy with the purchase especially with addition of the Bluetooth. This should be the second review...just read the first review and you should be sold.
