great phone

Got this phone for the alarm clock/plus phone features. They both work well. The phone has talking caller ID. Very happy with it.

The phone works fine. it is a bit involved to turn the alarm on and off as it requires entering codes.

Phone In Cradle--Display Is Not Illuminated

I thought the phone display would be illuminated when in the cradle. It doesn't light up when placed in the cradle. At night, I would need to put a light on to see what time it is or I need to take the phone out of the cradle, and at that time, it would then light up.
