pretty but terrible

Was so looking forward to this phone, however there were little to no instructions, so put it together and hooked it up. After one day of working somewhat properly, it took down the entire house's telephone system. If I unplugged it, everything else in the house worked fine, if i plugged it back in, down everything went. Would not recommend!

looks great with vintage decor, works nicely

I purchased this phone to go in a newly redone bedroom. Ok, I hate most telephones, and this one does have its drawbacks, it is not made to take heavy abuse, the handset is weighty, and the display is tiny. But you know what? It rings, the audio is clear, and it looks great in the room. It was inexpensive, too. I only wanted to be able to answer the phone from that room and not have some phone that looked out of place. This is perfect for an occasional-use phone when looks are more important than extra function options.

Exactly the look I was going for.

This phone looks and sounds great.I was happy to receive the product so shortly after ordering it. As soon as it came in the mail I set it up and got ready to go. The only downfall of this phone is that I assumed I could plug it into an outlet, however that is not the case. It runs off of a couple triple A batteries. Another downside to this phone is that the only part that seems to be metal is the centerpiece with the flowers. Furthermore, the dial appeared to have a wooden lining around it. When I received the phone, that wooden lining was not there. The speakers, and piece that you speak into is plastic, as well as the part that it sits on. If you can get beyond that, the phone looks great and it's pretty neat. It's nice that it has this particular style with a convenient caller ID along with it.Great phone, so close to 5/5.
