4Simple, easy to use & install basic phone entry system

I bought this unit to service a 6-unit condo. Mounting and installation were a snap (it helped to have all the wires from the previous system already in place). It literally takes only 7 wires to complete the installation (2 for power, 2 for the relay, 1 for the ground and 2 for the phone line). If possible, I suggest hooking up the wiring and testing the system before mounting it (so you can easily disconnect and return if there's a problem).The unit has a nice, fairly large 2-line LCD display. Programming is very straightforward, although it cam be somewhat cumbersome entering names using the numeric keypad (this model does not allow programming by computer). Use of the system by visitors is pretty idiot-proof. You just scroll to the desired name and hit he call button.I love being able to enter the building with an entry code rather than using keys. Most people overlook this feature, but I find it very convenient.
