Oh, yeah you can tell the difference.I had just about given up on finding a good in-line call recorder adapter. But that's because I never wanted to spend more than $20.Don't bother spending money on cheaper ones. Go ahead and get this one. I'm a reporter and I use it to record interviews. There might be better ones (like radio broadcast quality) above $100 but this serves my purposes nicely. Definitely recommend if what you need is nice, clear audio of a phone call.

I can't believe how quickly I received this product. Works great for recording calls to improve my telephone skills. I have tried less expensive devices and ended up tossing them. Save your time, money , and aggravation just buy this one.

Well crafted product

I bought this from B&H because I had to have it right away. Otherwise, I would have bought it from Amazon. In any event, I must say that the quality of this product is exceptional. I just tested it, and the balance between both ends of the conversation is superb. It's a solidly built little product, in an anodized aluminum case. Easy to use, too.
