It works

Purchased this Jensen VRD-1FF and the Viewsonic VSIS-EU and they both work in eliminating the ground loop hum from the cable tv in line. The Jensen is closer to $50 and the Viewsonic is around $17. The Jensen though more expensive did have a published graph of the signal range. Both did not affect and channels either.

Hit or Miss build quality

Upon connecting/disconnecting my coax cable to this unit for the first time after receiving it from Amazon, the gold pin on one end of the ISOMAX that makes contact with the center core coax cable, came loose, and attached itself to the coax cable. Needless to say I tried putting it back in, and hooking everything back up and no signal on my cable box or cable modem. Rather than go through the hassle of mailing it back and getting an exchange, I opened it up and sure it enough, it was disconnected at the solder joint (where the trace on the Pcb board inside the body of the ISOMAX connects to the gold pin). I got my solder gun, put a dab of flux and a gob of hot leaded solder, and put it back together and everything works fine now as it should have to begin with. Poor workmanship perhaps and or quality control. But yeah the thing works great now after I fixed it. Your mileage may vary.
